Biography

Debbie was born in Gorman, Texas on August 6, 1953 to LeeRoy and Nola Oliver. She was raised in Abilene, where she attended public schools and graduated from Abilene High in 1972. Debbie met Robert Creamier while he was stationed at Dyess AFB and she married the love of her life on September 8, 1973. Debbie dreamed of traveling the world and had her chance; she spent 9 years in Germany where she traveled all over Europe and southwest Asia. Debbie held many high level positions while working in U.S. Civil Service at many locations all over the world. She was especially proud of the time she spent as a house mother at the Baptist Children’s home in San Antonio, Texas. She spent her lifetime being devoted to her family, no matter where she was in the world she thought of family first. Debbie had a special place in her heart for her cats, Maggie and BJ, they were with her through thick and thin until the end.

Debbie is survived by her husband Robert; parents LeeRoy and Nola Oliver of Clyde, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney Oliver and wife Lori of Longmont, Colorado, Lee Oliver and wife Kathy of Clyde, Texas, Rick Oliver and wife Missy of Baird, Texas; nephews Tanner Oliver of Seattle, Washington, Jared Oliver, wife Jenny and son Rylan of McKinney, Texas, Cutter Oliver of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, and Justin Oliver of Arlington, Virginia; nieces, Taryn Oliver of Denver, Colorado and Lindsey Oliver of Abilene, Texas; a very special foster brother, Ruben Hinojosa, along with many cousins and close friends all over the world.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
