Randy Marr was one of my best friends through high school, college, and beyond. He had a kind word for everyone and was a loyal friend, a wonderful singer and artist, smart, funny, capable, supportive. Almost every college memory I have has Randy in it, and all the best ones do. I'll always miss him.
Randy and I were friends from first grade through high school. Third grade was particularly memorable, we created a whole village of paper people. We tore through the work assigned by the teacher and then worked on that project. Wish I had it. I remember the last time I saw him. He was positively joyous. As always. Such a dear friend.
